Contract vs Policies

Employment contracts are very difficult to amend at best and should only contain clear and unambiguous wording that are not likely to change. It must also stand up to scrutiny by the authorities or a court.

For this reason, do not make the mistake of incorporating policies or procedures wording into your employment contract unless you are certain it will not change. A better alternative is to make references to certain policies, such as code of conduct, privacy and confidentially.
