Your new position         

Reporting to the supportive and caring owners, the aim is to provide top quality service, working alongside each other and a small support team to make the clients’ experience truly memorable.

As it is a small and exclusive property, the duties will be varied and as a team you need to possess combined skills and experience to accomplish the following:

Guest experience

  • Respond to sales enquiries
  • Guest check-in, check-out
  • Maintain positive guest experience at all times

Yard/General Maintenance

  • Mowing lawns, firewood preparation, maintaining forest tracks
  • Handyman tasks as required
  • Manage Contractors

Housekeeping

  • Organise casual housekeepers
  • Stock take and ordering of goods
  • Assist housekeepers when required

 Reservations / Sales

  • Reservations, update website, social media and 3rd party listings
  • Assist with sales strategies and drive local/regional sales activities
  • Respond to sales enquires

Finance / Administration

  • Process payroll, invoices and purchases using MYOB
  • Prepare financial and tax reports (accounting support available)
  • General Administration

Essential skills

The Key Criteria

  • Proven experience in a similar, onsite role, including all the aspects of the essential skills as per above
  • Experience using Reservation and Accounting Software
  • Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal English
  • Strong, proven customer service focus - enjoy working with people
  • Ability to undertake basic maintenance and manage contractors
  • Thorough understanding of responsibilities under the WHS act
  • Ability to contribute at a management level to the marketing of the business, including the use of social media from a business perspective
