Government based National network of accommodation facilities providing culturally safe, and affordable accommodation for Indigenous Australians who need to be away from home to access life-changing education, employment, health and other services.
The Position
Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be overseeing the day-to-day running of the hostel as well as providing support and guidance to staff.
Some of the things you may be doing:
- Reservations / Room Allocations
- Rostering
- Staff / Contractor Management
- Budgets / Financials
- WHS and Property Management
Essential skills and Attributes
To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate a proven commitment to working with and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, plus the following:
- Strong management experience
- Relevant accommodation / facility management experience
- Financial acumen
- Driver’s License and First Aid Certification
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Fit and Healthy
