We are looking for a person can lead and manage in both an analytical and operational sense. You will be working for one of the best in the business, with owners that have a high level of integrity, honesty and a reputation of looking after their team well.

Your modern office is located just outside the Cairns CBD, with plenty of free parking.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be based in the Cairns office, supporting local operations and other locations in QLD. This is a cross-functional role with main-responsibilities in the following areas:

  • Analytical – Reporting, Risk analysis, Business improvement, Financial budgeting
  • HR Administration – Recruiting, Onboarding and Performance
  • Executive Administration – Minutes, Travel arrangement and Document review

What will a typical week look like?

Using your multi-tasking and prioritising skills, you will set aside time to analyse available data and provide advice to the General Manager in relation to your findings across a range of areas, including finance, insurance, incidents and staffing. You will also lead the HR functions, including advertising, recruitment and onboarding of new personnel. Executive administration such as staff travel arrangements, meeting minutes and document control are also an important part of this role.

Essential criteria

  • Proven Leadership Skills
  • Solid experience within an analytical role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Solid computer skills
  • Problems solving skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Friendly and professional manner

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Data Science, or a related field are desirable
