Full-time opportunity for an efficient and experienced person to join the administrative team of a well-known and respected Trade Based Company in Cairns.

About your new workplace

Our client is a well-known and respected business, providing professional trade solutions for commercial and residential properties. They have a large established team of trade professionals with extensive experience and a reputation as a company who prides themselves on their reliable, professional services. There is an emphasis on Training, Quality and Safety, with regular updates of procedures and equipment to ensure best practice industry standards.

You will find the culture to be friendly, inclusive and professional, where all team members are valued, respected and supported. The office is located approx. 10 min South of Cairns CBD.

The Role

This is a busy and varied role where you will spend the majority of your time scheduling and coordinating jobs with Trade Personnel, communicating with Real Estate / Body Corporate Clients and arranging property access with tenants. You will also generate invoices, purchase orders, process payments and debtor control.   XERO accounting and SimPRO scheduling software are used.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday

Skills and attributes needed

The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and takes to multitasking with ease.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Competent MS office user
  • Solid and stable work history
  • Professional and mature disposition

NOTE: Experience with scheduling software and trade / business service industry exposure is preferred
