An exciting opportunity has become available for an Administration Manager to help set up and manage the administrative and account functions within the company’s new office in Cairns.

The Company:

The company’s activities are focused on the sales of their unique irrigation system. In a world of water shortages, this  invention enables farms to save 50% of their water usage, reduces energy costs and increases the crop yield. Already established in the Middle East, USA and Africa, the company is now rolling out its product in Australia.  

A day in the office…

As this is a newly established office, your initial task will be to work closely with the General Manager to establish, implement and maintain administrative systems, functions, policies and procedures.

Other things you may find yourself doing…

  • Manage the office on a day to day basis
  • Assist with the management of human resources
  • Assist with the management of accounting functions
  • Assist and support sales and marketing personnel
  • Coordinate the leasing and maintenance of premises, plant and equipment
  • Oversee IT related needs, procedures and issues
  • Manage and update web-based applications
  • Ongoing Coordination with HQ overseas including the following- HR, Finance and Marketing.

This is a Fulltime role Mon-Fri with Weekends off.

To be successful in this role, you will need these traits and attributes:

  • Solid understanding of administration and accounts
  • Knowledgeable of Human Resources and FWA
  • Internet / Computer savvy
  • Excellent Communications skills on all levels
  • Own Transport / DL
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
  • High standard of ethics
  • Process driven individual
  • Out of the box approach
