This Chartered Accountancy firm based in Cairns provides a supportive and stable working environment with a genuine belief in the importance of a good work and family life balance. You will establish and maintain an up to date client base and assist senior team members in providing quality services in a range of accounting, taxation and business matters. You will also prepare Interim Tax Returns and process GST Returns as required. You will have the chance to share your knowledge with less experienced staff and assist in training new staff. Ideally, you will have had 3 years experience in the public sector within a similar role and have good communication skills as well as tax experience. There is an opportunity to advance into Auditing and Superannuation areas. You are able to work on your own initiative and are looking forward to meeting and greeting your own clients. You will prepare and finalise jobs as well as developing you own portfolio. You will provide support to your team members and contribute to the growth and profitability of the business by providing superior client services.
