This position will ensure the Food and Beverage Operations are to the standard expected by guests. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the on board management of all Food & Beverage operations. In the absence of the Passenger Services Director, the Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for the management of the entire on board hotel operations. The Food & Beverage Manager will also actively participate in, and become an integral part of, the On-board Executive Committee.
Requirements:
Minimum of five years progressive hospitality managerial experience, preferably onboard and/or in an upscale hotel, restaurant, or high volume food service facility
Ability to manage the financial aspects of a food and beverage operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost efficiencies and revenue growth through promotional and up-selling activities.
Good working knowledge of HACCP.
You will also oversee the overall food and beverage budget by reviewing financial transactions and reports to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations and constantly look for revenue-enhancement opportunities
Proven abilty to mentor, develop and provide on-the-job training to subordinates to strengthen their current performance and preparation for future advancement
