A PNG company has an opportunity for a Chairman of the Board to lead their team in Cairns. Our client is involved in the Exxon lead LNG project in PNG.

Job Description:

• Providing leadership to the Board of Directors
• Developing meeting agendas and chairing meetings of the Board
• Encouraging the Boards role in strategic planning within the organization
• Reviewing any issues concerning the organization with the Board
• Monitoring financial planning and reporting
• Evaluating the performance and effectiveness of Board members
• Evaluating the organizations performance in line with its objectives
• Setting performance standards and job descriptions
• Managing the affairs of the Board and monitoring its effectiveness

The Right Leader:

• Highly experienced and efficient manager
• Excellent stakeholder relationship building skills
• Financial management skills
• Strategic planning skills
• 30 plus years of senior lead team experience in the Insurance Industry
